BlueRinse Concrete Washout Systems was proud to support the delivery team on one of the HS2 (High Speed Two) projects, providing specialist familiarisation training on our BlueRinse washout system and closed-loop wash-down tray.
HS2 is one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects, a high-speed rail network designed to improve connectivity between London, the Midlands and the North. Beyond enhancing transport capacity, HS2 is setting new benchmarks in environmental responsibility and sustainable construction, making it an ideal partner for innovation in site practices.
Our involvement focused on helping site operatives understand how to use the BlueRinse and wash-down systems effectively. This training ensures that sustainability and safety go hand in hand, supporting HS2’s broader commitment to greener construction methods.
The BlueRinse system enables infinite concrete chute wash-offs with no additional wastewater generated. At the same time, the closed-loop wash-down tray allows for the safe cleaning of tools and vibrating pokers. All water used is treated and recycled within the base unit, reducing waste and environmental impact.

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to doing the right thing by delivering innovative, responsible solutions that protect both people and the environment across the UK’s construction sites, from large infrastructure projects to small developments.
